The renovation and restoration project of Tofighi (the first mayor of Zanjan under the rule of the first Pahlavi) Residence was devised in 1377, and was carried out within as short as six months. It included study and analysis, pathology, structural renovation, and restoration plans. In the restoration plan, it was decided to be used as the Martyrs Museum, and the interior and exterior of the building were designed in line with aforementioned purpose.
