Hamoon
Project Information
The Hamoon project, designed with the dual objectives of preserving and revitalizing ancient trees while enhancing urban living, spans an area of 2,610 square meters within the Darabad neighborhood of Tehran. Addressing the challenges of urban life and the diminishing sense of community, the project’s courtyard is meticulously crafted as a space for neighborly interaction and fostering a shared social experience among residents. Each floor is equipped with a shared courtyard among eight units, promoting human connections and a sense of community. This communal space also facilitates a continuous connection with nature, a concept that has been compromised in modern apartment living and is now primarily confined to shared lobbies at building entrances. In this project, shared living is elevated to new heights with a unique feature: a space twice the customary height, suspended at various angles. This elevated platform offers residents an unparalleled experience of social interaction, redefining ecological architecture within the contemporary residential fabric of Tehran.
